Please don't go to this hospital, the doctor asked me if my baby was mentally retarded, with those exact words just because my baby has a protruding forehead, she doesn't have down syndrome. The way he asked me that question was so unbelievable, so ignorant and offensive. I will have to find another hospital in case of an emergency, I would not recommend this hospital to anybody. Horrible experience.
I took my mother because she fell and fractured her shoulder they were very fast in attending her xray were done within 30 min we were there.. staff was excellent the doctor as well .. our new Er place for family
I came to this facility due to a fractured ankle. Although the people there were very kind to me, I have a concern about how they charge for their services and for their ability to diagnose correctly. First, I offered my insurance card to them before I was ever treated because this is generally standard operating procedures, but was told it wasn't needed. Therefore, I wasn't given an opportunity to understand what general range of possible out of pocket expenses I might have or whether all their doctors/radiologists/etc., were in my Aetna network. After I was x rayed (and misdiagnosed, as I found out later by my orthopedic surgeon in Houston), I paid what I thought was the entire bill, but am now still receiving bills from providers not in network. Moral to this story: if you are well-insured, go to a regular ER where you will understand first hand what you will be paying and where there is a greater likelihood of being properly diagnosed. In addition, they will have orthopedic equipment that will fit. Although these people were lovely to me, their billing is very expensive. They advertise how you will only have to wait a certain number of minutes on their marquee outside, but you will pay for that convenience
